Mel

Name:Melanie Sikes
Player:Odocoileus
Description: Melanie is a smallish woman, standing at 5’4” with a relatively curvy body shape and weighs about 130 pounds. Her hair is pin straight and a deep black color. It reaches to about her lower back when she doesn't have it up. Her eyes, though, are totally black, including her sclera. They do not shine or glimmer like normal eyes but have an matte, endless empty void look. Her skin is relatively pale and freckled, except for a large scar on her back, which is a deep bruised red color.
Demeanor: Melanie is relatively shy and nervous at first since most of her first experiences with people usually don't go over well. She tends to open up to be more of a live wire when she gets comfortable around others. She tends to have a short fuse and can be quick to anger.

Advantages
-Such pretty eyes: her eyes are like a deep endless void. It is easy to be startled or even fear full of the all consuming darkness that is her eyes. Melanie can actually control this at a more intense level but only if she continually focuses on her subject and doesn't blink. Only lasts three turns. (A bonus to Charisma and Will power when trying to hypnotize someone.)
-Wanna race?: Melanie has always been rambunctious and high energy. So going on long runs or sprints while avoiding obstacles isn't out of the ordinary for her. (Applies to endurance when she is running at a full sprint. It can also add a bonus to perception if there are obstacles in her way)
-Eye see you!: Her eyes can do more than instill fear, she has excellent night vision, especially in dimly lit areas. She can easily see as well as most animals at night. (Applies to perception when in a dark room or at night)

Disadvantages
-Is anyone home?: While also being a bit on the day dreamy side, Melanie can't always keep her for in check if she has spent too long in the shadows. So her reflexes and reaction times slow as she reforms. (applies to endurance and agility when she has spent too long in the shadows.)
-Dry Eyes: Melanie suffers from dry eyes and usually has to moisturize them with eye drops every so often. She has to do this more so when she uses Such Pretty Eyes. After three turns she must roll a d3 to see how many turns she will miss while she uses her eye drops. If she can not get to a safe position to apply the drops her vision will be cloudy. (This will her effect her perception) until she gets to a safe location.

Equipment
-Flashlight
-Two-way radio
-Eye drops
-Two butterfly knives

Talent:Fade step: With a misty fog, melanie can slink off into the shadows. She can move between shadows and swiftly disappears into the dark to only appear elsewhere. She is also to hide in shadows for extended amounts of time but she occasionally has trouble reforming, depending on how long she has been hidden. (This applies to agility and perception when in the shadows, or using it to teleport away.)
Backfire: Melanie can't always keep track of her location in the shadows. She can easily get lost with in them. She has to roll a 1d4 to see how many turns she looses while lost in the dark.

History:Melanie was born in a small town in the middle of nowhere. She was born with normal dark green eyes that slowly turned totally black. She was not the only child who had this happen to them. By the time she was able to walk she was sent to live at the town's church where all black eyed children also lived. She was brought with strong religious beliefs and followed them happily. However, as she grew up more and more of her friends began disappearing. She started to question the church and secretively started planning her escape to see what life was like outside the church. By the time she turned 17, she was the original children who she remembers from her time there. Melanie noticed that she was treated with more respect and was doted on but could not figure out why. Until she turned 19, she was summoned to fully join the church. The priest and nuns brought her into the cathedral for a baptism. As she drank the wine and ate the bread she questioned all of it, was this what she really wanted? Is this what she was supposed to do? Why couldn't she live like the normal kids outside of the church and go to school? Something with in her snapped and she doubled over in pain and the last thing she remembers before passing out, was the look of pure terror on the people's faces. When she finally woke up she found herself disoriented and drowsy, in The Lockwood.
Miscellaneous:
-She is easily scared by flashing lights
