Travis Adams

Name: Travis Adams
Player: dragonwielder
Description: Travis is a surprisingly good looking Caucasian fellow, despite being undead. Mostly because the thing keeping him undead is more magic based than infection or science. He has pale skin, and an athletic build one would expect from a soldier. He has eyes with irises that always glow a green teal, and grey hair that always seems to be on the messy side. He looks to be in his late twenties or early thirties, and seems to have a big boss-ish scruff on.
Demeanor: Travis is a calm individual that tends to have some wisdom about him from his many years. He likes to sometimes hit people with philosophical questions. He is not surprised or scared by much, considering he doesn't have anything to lose. He tends to be a bit sarcastic, and enjoys cutting people open a bit more than he should. In the end of the day, Travis just wants to help, it's what he was trained to do after all.

- Travis is an undead being. He can't really die, well, he can. But it's really hard to pull off. Not to mention that he has seen the equivalent of world war two with wizards, steampunk machines, and all manners of war horrors that would appear in those situations, except this world war two lasted about 300 years. There isn't much out there that can scare him. (Bonus against resisting intimidation)
- He's an undead, which means he won't die no matter what happens. Which allows him to charge into battle without fear of serious injury, and the most dangerous kind of person is the kind that has nothing to lose. (Bonus to MLE when charging into or being amongst a group of enemies.)
- [HEALING: 8] During his service in the horribly long war, he spent his time as a combat medic. He has a lot of experience in both healing magic, steampunk healing machinery, and normal healing methods. He's the best when it comes to patching up any wounds. He can even use magic to reattach limbs!

- Travis…Is an undead. That means, if he is hit hard enough, a limb is going to come off. If he fails a defense roll bad enough, he loses a limb and is unable to use it for the rest of the mission. The limb is reattached after the mission ends. (If his defense roll result is below 4, he loses the body part that is hist. All Agi rolls are at a disadvantage until all limbs are reatatched)
- Travis's body depends on the magical energy flowing through it. Without it, he will fall into a coma until the energy is restored. (Disadvantage to End when in areas with low or absent magical energy)

-Two-way radio
-A steampunk style rifle
-A steampunk style pistol
-Elemental magically charged gun ammunition
- Cutlass (Also steampunk style)
-Medical books and medical spell books
-strange steampunk style machines that have various medical uses

Talent: Due to the magical energy flowing through his body, Travis is able to heal most wounds if he concentrates hard enough. He can take one turn to concentrate and heal all minor wounds. This will also reattach any lost limbs. This ability can only be used 3 times per run.
Backfire: Sometimes, the magical energy can have a negative reaction as it tries to heal the wounds. This results in Spontaneous combustion. He literally explodes. He is out of play for two turns, as it takes two turns for his body to pull back together.

History: Travis' life began a bit before the 300 year war of Zekoni, his homeworld. He was born exactly 24 years before the war. When the war began, he was drafted into service to fight. During the war, he was trained to be a combat medic, and use the machinery, methods, and magic that come with being in the occupation. He also received training in the art of combat. Specifically with a blade pistol and a cutlass. It was around year 4 into the war that things went wrong for him. Really wrong. The enemy was testing a new weapon that threatened to destroy he and all his comrades. It was a reactor that would send out a blast of energy, killing those nearby. Travis found this, and proceeded to sacrifice himself, going out into a blaze of glory for his comrades by stabbing the reactor. It was the most painful thing he had felt in his life, and nothing has ever compared since then. He felt all the energy from the reactor flowing into him… and then, he exploded. After that, he felt nothingness itself, and only darkness. A while later, he found himself awake again, almost as if his body had literally pulled itself back together from the gory paste that it was before. Not only that, but he could feel the magical energy flowing through his body like never before, and his hair had gone a dark grey. He found that his people had won the battle thanks to him, and he proceeded to become a significant leader in the war, even if people had no idea how he survived that fateful day. The war went on, over time, he had to pretend to be his own descendants in order to keep his secret. All the while, his skills improved, and his power allowed him to improve to an inhuman level. Things were going ok, 300 years went by. Then, it happened. He found that the enemy had remade it. The very machine that had given him his power 300 years ago. Now, instead of threatening to destroy an army, it had been upgraded. Now with the power to destroy nations. He knew what he had to do, he sent his best men to set a distraction, and went himself to end the destructive machine. Before Travis could make it to the power source, the machine was activated. Then, a bright flash of light. Travis doesn't remember much after that.
